Hypothetical Performance Disclosure
This disclosure applies to every performance figure displayed by iSpyMarkets, including paper-trading results, simulated fills, reconstructed or backfilled rows, modeled output, and backtested statistics. It should be read together with the Risk Disclaimer and the Terms of Use.

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN INHERENT LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING AND MAY NOT REFLECT THE IMPACT OF MATERIAL MARKET FACTORS. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
01All Displayed Results Are Paper / Simulated
iSpyMarkets operates in PAPER-TRADING / SIMULATION mode. Every trade, position, entry, exit, profit-and-loss value, equity figure, win rate, expectancy, drawdown, and return percentage shown by the Platform is simulated unless it is explicitly labeled otherwise.
No real-money order routing or execution is enabled. Displayed results are not customer account results and do not represent the actual trading of any person or entity.
Live trading remains locked. If real-money functionality is ever introduced, it would be disclosed as such and offered under separate terms.
02Inherent Limitations of Hypothetical Results
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading.
Because simulated trades have not been executed in a live market, results may under-compensate or over-compensate for the impact of market factors including liquidity, order queue position, partial fills, slippage, bid-ask spreads, commissions and exchange fees, market impact, margin requirements, funding costs, and execution or data latency.
Simulated trading programs in general are also designed with the benefit of hindsight, and no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
03Simulated Fills Versus Real Execution
The Platform assumes that an order could be filled at the modeled price and size. In live markets a comparable order may fill at a worse price, fill only in part, or not fill at all.
Fast markets, thin books, gaps, halts, contract rolls, and outages can change outcomes materially. Differences between simulated and live execution can accumulate and can turn a simulated gain into a real loss.
04Reconstructed and Backfilled Results
Some rows are rebuilt from stored paper history after the fact. Those rows are labeled as reconstructed paper results in the interface and must not be read as records of actual live executions.
Reconstruction depends on stored data quality and on assumptions applied at rebuild time. It is included so that the paper record is complete, not to imply that a live order occurred.
05Backtested and Modeled Statistics
Backtested and modeled statistics are produced by applying rules to historical data. They can be affected by data errors or revisions, survivorship and selection effects, look-ahead bias, parameter fitting, and regime change.
Strategy targets, validation gates, and benchmark objectives displayed by the Platform describe design intent. They are not achieved results and are not forecasts.
06Percentage Returns and the Simulated Starting Balance
The Platform reports a simulated starting balance of $500.00. That figure is a paper-performance baseline used to compute simulated equity, drawdown, and return percentages. It does not indicate that $500.00, or any amount, was deposited into or traded through a live brokerage account.
Percentage returns calculated from a small simulated starting balance can appear unusually large in relative terms even when the underlying dollar amounts are small. Such percentages must not be interpreted as expected, typical, or achievable investor returns.
Position sizing, risk per trade, and leverage assumptions used in simulation may not be practical or permitted in a live account of comparable size.
07No Guarantees, Audits, or Endorsements
No guarantee, warranty, or assurance of profit is made. Past, hypothetical, simulated, reconstructed, modeled, and backtested results do not guarantee future results.
Performance figures shown are produced by the Platform's own telemetry and have not been independently audited or verified by any third party. Nothing here implies endorsement, approval, registration, or sponsorship by any governmental or regulatory authority.
