Please review how information is handled before using iSpyMarkets

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, shared, and protected in connection with iSpyMarkets, including the website, application interface, and related services. It describes categories of information based on how the Platform actually operates.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

01Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the iSpyMarkets website and application, including public pages, authenticated areas, and subscription functionality. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that you access through links or integrations.

This policy should be read together with the Terms of Use and the Risk Disclaimer.

02Information You Provide

You may provide information directly, for example when you create an account, sign in, subscribe, or contact support. Depending on the flow you use, this may include an email address, authentication identifiers from a sign-in provider you choose, and any content you voluntarily submit in messages.

You are not required to submit sensitive personal information in support communications and should not do so.

Do not submit brokerage, exchange, or bank credentials, API keys, or other financial account access information unless a Platform feature expressly requests them through an authorized integration. iSpyMarkets operates in paper-trading mode and does not require live brokerage credentials to function.

03Paper-Trading and Platform Telemetry

The Platform processes market data and simulated trading telemetry, including quotes, signal lifecycle events, simulated positions, and simulated trade results. This telemetry describes the paper-trading engine rather than an individual user's real-money brokerage activity.

Where features record your interactions with the Platform, such as settings or preferences you choose, that information is associated with your account so the interface can be presented consistently.

04Account and Authentication Data

Authenticated features are supported by a managed backend authentication and database service. That service processes account identifiers, session tokens, and authentication metadata such as sign-in timestamps in order to establish and maintain your session.

Session information may be stored in your browser (for example in local storage or cookies) so that you remain signed in between visits. Entitlement and subscription status associated with your account may also be stored to determine what content you may access.

05Technical, Device, and Log Information

As with most internet services, hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically record technical information when you access the Platform. This can include IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system characteristics, referring pages, requested URLs, response status, and timestamps.

This information is generated by ordinary web operations and is used to deliver content, maintain security, diagnose errors, and monitor availability.

06Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses browser storage mechanisms, including local storage and, where applicable, cookies, primarily to maintain authentication sessions and user interface preferences.

Third-party services integrated into the Platform, such as payment processing, may set their own cookies or storage in accordance with their policies. You can control or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent sign-in or other features from working.

07Usage and Analytics Information

Where analytics or product-usage measurement is enabled, aggregated or pseudonymous information about page views, feature usage, and errors may be collected to understand and improve how the Platform is used.

Operational telemetry generated by the trading simulation itself concerns market data and simulated trading activity rather than individual user behavior.

08Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Payment card details are submitted to and handled by that processor under its own terms and privacy policy.

The Platform may receive and store limited transaction-related information such as subscription status, plan, billing period, and processor identifiers in order to grant and maintain access.

09How Information Is Used

Information may be used to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform; to authenticate users and manage sessions; to determine subscription entitlements and provide paid features; to communicate about the service, including transactional and support messages; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; to diagnose technical problems; and to comply with legal obligations.

Processing is carried out because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to pursue legitimate operational and security interests, to perform a contract with you, or to comply with law, as applicable in your jurisdiction.

10Sharing and Service Providers

Information may be shared with service providers that operate the Platform on our behalf, including hosting and content delivery, backend database and authentication, payment processing, and messaging or community services you choose to use.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, legal process, or governmental request; to protect rights, safety, security, or property; to enforce the Terms of Use; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

11Security

Technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, including transport encryption, database access controls and row-level security policies, restricted server-side credentials, and separation of privileged operations from browser code.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no guarantee is made that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in a manner inconsistent with this policy.

12Retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the Platform, to maintain account and subscription records, to meet legal, accounting, security, or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes.

Retention periods vary by category and by the practices of the underlying service providers that store the data.

13Your Choices

You can decline to provide certain information, though this may prevent access to features such as authenticated or subscription content. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser, sign out to end a session, and request account or subscription changes through available channels.

You may also unsubscribe from non-essential communications where an unsubscribe option is provided. Transactional messages relating to your account or payments may still be sent.

14US and State Privacy Rights

Where applicable law grants them, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, to request information about categories of personal information collected and disclosed, to opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising, and to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising those rights.

Where applicable, requests may be submitted through the contact or support channel made available within the application or on this website, and identity verification may be required before a request is fulfilled.

15Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and information is not knowingly collected from them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us through an available support channel so that appropriate steps can be taken.

16Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party websites and services, including market data sources, payment processing, and messaging channels.

Those third parties operate independently, and their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies, which you should review.

17International Processing

The Platform and its service providers may process and store information in the United States or in other countries where they or their infrastructure operate.

Where applicable law requires it, appropriate safeguards may be used for cross-border transfers of personal information.

18Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date on this page.

Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

19Contact

Privacy questions may be submitted through the contact or support channel made available within the iSpyMarkets application or on this website. No other contact method is designated.
